• When we have discussed the project, we will offer various solutions to you and explain the benefits of in depth.
• Once you decide what you want to do we will agree a deadline for delivery of various stages of work.
• We will stay in touch with you as we work, letting you know how things are progressing and may be asking some more questions
• When the project is finished and you have your turn key solution you can expect some free consultation, within reason.

Good communication is essential when designing and creating software solutions that work in the real world.
Monitor Pro has adopted the following 9 stage process to ensure that the correct solution is delivered on time and within budget.
1. Design Meeting
An important part of any web solution is to ensure that the key business objectives are clearly identified before even the specification is started. Brainstorming with the projects key stake holders in a comfortable environment is a good way to ensure that the key concepts and ideas behind the objectives are identified successfully. We call this a design meeting.
2. Proposal Once an initial design meeting has taken place and agreed objectives have been established, we then create a proposal. The proposal documents the objectives, provides outline details of the web site production process, and provides an initial development cost estimate.
3. Specification Assuming that our client is happy with the proposal we then create a specification.
We do charge for the specification stage because we create a detailed document which is a blueprint for the system, much like an architects drawing is for a house.
The specification details every aspect of what needs to be developed and provides a fixed price for development. This specification can be taken to any development agency if the client decides not to use Monitor Pro to actually develop the solution.
4. Client Sign Off At this point we ask the client to sign off the specification, so that it is agreed what we are going to do and the costs involved.
5. Development Throughout the development process we make our development server accessible to the client, so that they can view development as it taking place. This allows our clients to test and try out the solution as it starts to take shape. On larger projects we tend to agree and set development milestones with the client.
6. Testing Once the development is complete, we then test the application on various browsers and operating systems as well as conducting various functionality tests. The client may test the application throughout.
7. Client Sign Off Before Go-Live we request that the client signs off the application as meeting the specification.
8. Go-Live The system is moved from development onto the Live Servers and further testing of the solution in the Live Environment takes place. Our web site production and development servers are exactly the same, so very rarely are there any problems at this stage that have not already been identified and fixed.
9. Technical Support Monitor Pro provides technical and operational support as required by the client. We offer a number of support packages which allow for a certain amount of time per month. Our on-line support system ensures that support issues can be tracked and dealt with in an efficient and timely way. |
